My Desk: 2

Done...in

12 hours of work...

Tips if you are ever building a IKEA Pax wardrobe:
1. It will need to be attached to the wall. If it fell on you it WILL kill you.
2. Leave the bottom guide runner lose until you have hung the doors (specific but believe me if you ever build one it will make sense).
3. Make sure all 4 parts are level on all angles and in line with each other (this is, of course, impossible. See point 4)
4. Don't spend to long trying to work out how you could find, and what you would ideally do to the cretin who cut your wardrobe sides to random lengths.

.....and no idea.

Attended the best kept surprise, surprise parties in the history of suprise parties. I had the risky job of taking the main man for a pint before heading to where everyone was waiting. My orders were to get him to the pub by 9. All went well with my side of the deception. The only slight error that may have betrayed my ruse was that I realised I was drinking to a timeframe that, for him didn't exist, he didn't spot it though. Apart from that, my powers of acting and mainly his girlfriend's phoone call got him to the pub on time. With great relief on my part, a perfectly executed 'suprise' by the friends on family sealed it, and kicked off the night. His surprise was absolute....or he is a better actor than me...perfectly possible.

All IKEA........

Weekend in Dublin. Arrived Friday evening, had a quiet evening and watched The Late Late Show (the worlds longest running chat show). Bob Geldof was dull and self important. Next morning, after a slightly delayed start, set about building an IKEA Pax Wardrobe...it as basically 4 wardrobe with 2 huge glass sliding doors. What I thought maybe a few hours work became a clear labour of Hercules... 5 hours later and only halfway through said labour it was time to shower and head out.

Kick My Arts FC V 4 P's Marketing

18:40 kick off . Venue is the ironically named Paradise Park and the competition the Islington Wednesday night 6 a-side league. The final score was a convincing 9-2 to KMA with me scoring 2 of the worst goals in football history. If the game was based on the Premier League Fantasy Football rules, the goalkeeper would have been judged to have scored 2 own goals and I may have sneaked an assist for 1. The record books will be kind though. Nick Ince (arms folded on the pic) won a deserved Man of the Match for his 3 well taken goals. The season stats available HERE

The Start

This is hopefullly the start of many posts. I am aiming this to be more about pictures taken on my phone than text.  I am hoping that it encourages me to do more with my time left in London and even more when I get to Dublin.. It may only be Sam Douglas that ever reads this but that would be enough for me.
